Pushti meaning
Pushti (पुष्टि) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Nourishment, growth, thriving; wealth, prosperity
Pushti (पुष्टि) comes from the Sanskrit verb puṣ, "to nourish, to thrive". Monier-Williams, citing the Rigveda, gives a well-nourished condition, growth, thriving, wealth, opulence and comfort, and lists Puṣṭi personified as a daughter of Dakṣa and wife of Dharma, a Śakti, a phase of the moon and a form of Sarasvatī. In the Pushtimarg, the Krishna devotion founded by Vallabha in the early sixteenth century, puṣṭi means God's grace, and the name carries that sense for families who follow it. Name lists give "nourishment", "health" or "prosperity".
