Shreyasi meaning
Shreyasi (श्रेयसी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
More excellent, best; auspicious (feminine of śreyas)
Shreyasi (শ্রেয়সী) is the feminine form of Sanskrit śreyas, the comparative of śrī. Monier-Williams gives the adjective as better, more excellent, superior and best, and also as auspicious and conducive to welfare; as a noun śreyas means welfare, bliss and good fortune. Monier-Williams also lists śreyasī itself as the name of several plants and of a deity of the Bodhi tree. The name is closely related to Shreya and Shreyas. It is used mainly in Bengal, where it is also spelled Sreyashi.
