Rajashree meaning
Rajashree (राजश्री) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, रा, it is a Tula rashi name (Chitra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Royal fortune, a king's prosperity personified as a goddess
Also used to mean: royal lakshmi, princess, royalty
Rajashree (राजश्री) joins rājan, "king", and śrī, "fortune, splendour". Monier-Williams records rāja-śrī as equal to rāja-lakṣmī, the fortune or prosperity of a king personified as a goddess, citing the Harivamsa and the Ramayana, and also as the name of a Gandharva maiden. Name lists give Rajashree as "royal Lakshmi", "princess" or "royalty", which grows out of that sense. Rajshree and Rajshri are other spellings, and Rajasree is used in Kerala and Bengal.
