Raunak meaning
Raunak (रौनक) is a Hindu boy's name of Persian origin (Hindi usage).
Beauty, elegance, grace; splendour, brightness
Also used to mean: liveliness
Raunak (रौनक) comes from the Persian word raunaq, which Steingass gives as beauty, elegance and grace, splendour and brightness, and an ornament; the glitter on a polished sword blade is its raunaq. The word passed into Hindi and Urdu, where raunak also means the liveliness and cheer of a festive place, as in "the raunak of a wedding". Name lists give "brightness" or "splendour". It is used by Hindu families across north and west India, and Ronak is the Gujarati spelling.
