Ratnadeep meaning
Ratnadeep (रत्नदीप) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A jewel-lamp, a gem that gives out light
Also used to mean: lamp of jewels, jewel of jewels
Ratnadeep (रत्नदीप) is the Sanskrit ratnadīpa, a "jewel-lamp". Monier-Williams describes it as a lamp in which gems themselves give out light, of the kind said to shine in the underworld of Pātāla where no sun reaches. The parts are ratna, "jewel, gem, treasure", and in Vedic use "gift, wealth", and dīpa, "a light, lamp". Some name lists read the ending as English "deep" and give "ocean of gems", but in the name it is the Sanskrit word for a lamp.
