Ridhima meaning
Ridhima (रिधिमा) is a Hindu girl's name.
Meaning today
Full of prosperity, full of love
In the dictionaries
The name isn't in the classical dictionaries we use, so it is most likely a modern name. The meaning above is how families commonly use it.
Ridhima (रिधिमा, also written Riddhima) is a modern name that we could not find in the Sanskrit dictionaries. Families and name lists usually connect it with riddhi, Sanskrit ṛddhi, which Monier-Williams gives as increase, growth, prosperity, success and abundance, as well as accomplishment and supernatural power. The dictionary also records Ṛddhi as a name of Lakshmi and of Parvati and, in later tradition, as a wife of Ganesha. The ending -mā recalls names such as Garima and Mahima, but no word ṛddhimā is recorded, so "full of prosperity" is a reasonable modern reading rather than a dictionary meaning. The other popular gloss, "full of love", has no source we could find.
