Sanjeev meaning
Sanjeev (संजीव) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Living; making alive, vivifying; revival
Also used to mean: life-giving, reviving
Sanjeev (संजीव) is Sanskrit saṃjīva, from sam, "fully", and jīva, "living, life". Monier-Williams gives living and living together, and making alive or vivifying, as in the Atharva Veda, and as a noun the act of reviving. The same root gives saṃjīvanī, the life-restoring herb of the Rāmāyaṇa story. Name lists give "reviving" or "giving life", matching the dictionary; "immortal", seen on some lists, is not a dictionary sense. Sanjeev Kumar was a celebrated Hindi film actor.
