Shivcharan meaning
Shivcharan (शिवचरण) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
The feet of Śiva (śiva + caraṇa 'foot', honorific when plural)
Also used to mean: Lord Shiva's feet
Shivcharan (शिवचरण) joins Śiva with caraṇa, "foot". Monier-Williams notes that caraṇa, placed after a name in the plural, marks a venerable person, and in Hindu devotion taking refuge at the god's feet is the image of complete surrender. The name therefore means one devoted at Śiva's feet, and name lists give "Lord Shiva's feet". It is a traditional name in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, carried by Shiv Charan Mathur, a former chief minister of Rajasthan.
