Sukrit meaning
Sukrit (सुकृत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Doing good, virtuous, pious; a good deed, moral merit
Also used to mean: good-hearted, doer of good
Sukrit (सुकृत) comes from Sanskrit su, "well", and kṛ, "to do". Monier-Williams records two close forms on the same page: sukṛt, "doing good, benevolent, virtuous, pious", already used in the Rigveda and also meaning wise or skilful, as said of the divine craftsmen Tvaṣṭṛ and the Ṛbhus; and sukṛta, "well done", which as a noun means a good or righteous deed, virtue or moral merit. Name lists give Sukrit as "good deed", "good-hearted" or "doer of good", matching the dictionary. The feminine form is Sukriti.
