Sukant meaning
Sukant (सुकांत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Very handsome
Sukant (सुकांत) is Sanskrit su-kānta, from su, "very, well", and kānta, "lovely, beloved, pleasing". Monier-Williams gives it simply as very handsome, citing the Kathāsaritsāgara. Name lists give Sukant as "handsome", matching the dictionary. In Bengali the name keeps its final vowel as Sukanta, the form borne by the poet Sukanta Bhattacharya, whose short life produced some of the best-loved Bengali poems of the 1940s. Sukanth is a south Indian spelling.
