Harinarayan meaning
Harinarayan (हरिनारायण) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Personal name; from Hari and Nārāyaṇa, both names of Viṣṇu
Also used to mean: Lord Narayana, Lord Vishnu
Harinarayan (हरिनारायण) joins two names of Vishnu. Hari, in Monier-Williams, is a name of Vishnu-Krishna, and Nārāyaṇa is explained as "the son of the original Man", identified with Vishnu, Krishna or Brahmā, and also used simply as a name of Vishnu. Monier-Williams records Harinārāyaṇa as the name of several men known from inscriptions, so it is an old personal name. Name lists give "Lord Narayana" or "Lord Vishnu". In Kerala and Tamil Nadu the name is usually Harinarayanan.
