Supraja meaning
Supraja (सुप्रजा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Having good or numerous children
Also used to mean: having good children, good people
Supraja (सुप्रजा) is the feminine of Sanskrit supraja, formed from su, "good", and prajā, "offspring, progeny, people". Monier-Williams glosses it as having good or numerous children and cites it from the Rigveda, the Mahābhārata and the Rāmāyaṇa. The same word opens the famous dawn verse Kausalyā suprajā Rāma, "Rāma, fine son of Kausalyā". Name lists give "having good children" or "good people", in line with the dictionary. The name is used mainly in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
