Tathya meaning
Tathya (तथ्य) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
True, real; truth
Also used to mean: fact
Tathya (तथ्य) is the Sanskrit tathya, formed from tathā, "so, thus", and meaning literally "being really so". Monier-Williams gives it as an adjective, "true", and as a noun, "truth". In Hindi tathya is the everyday word for a fact. Name lists give Tathya as "truth" or "fact", in line with the dictionary; one list also links it to Lord Shiva, which seems to come from confusion with Tatya, a Marathi pet name, and is not a dictionary sense. As a given name Tathya is close in meaning to the older Satya.
