Tatva meaning
Tatva (तत्त्व) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Truth, reality; a first principle; an element; essence
Tatva (तत्त्व), also spelled Tattva, is the Sanskrit tattva, literally "that-ness", from tad, "that". Monier-Williams gives it as the true state of things, truth or reality, and as the essence or substance of anything. In Indian philosophy a tattva is a first principle: the Sāṃkhya school counts twenty-five of them, from pure consciousness down to the five elements, and the word is also used for an element itself. Name lists give "essence", "truth" or "element", all dictionary senses.
