Vimal meaning
Vimal (विमल) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Stainless, spotless, clean, bright, pure; clear, transparent
Vimal (विमल) is the Sanskrit vimala, made from vi-, "without", and mala, "dirt, impurity". Monier-Williams gives it as stainless, spotless, clean, bright and pure, in both the literal and the moral sense, and also as clear, transparent and white. The Mahābhārata uses the locative vimale for "at daybreak". For Jains, Vimalanātha is the thirteenth Tīrthaṅkara of the present age. Name lists give Vimal as "pure" or "clean", matching the dictionary. In Bengal and Odisha the name is written Bimal, and Vimala is the girls' form.
