Viransh meaning
Viransh (वीरांश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, वी, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Rohini nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A part of a hero (vīra, 'hero' + aṃśa, 'part')
Also used to mean: brave
Viransh (वीरांश) is a modern name made from two Sanskrit words. Vīra, the source of Veer and Virat, is given by Monier-Williams as a man, a brave or eminent man, a hero or chief, and as an adjective heroic, powerful and strong; it is even used of gods such as Indra and Vishnu. Aṃśa means a share, portion or part. Together the name reads "part of a hero", which is how name lists give it. The compound itself is not a dictionary word: it belongs to the recent fashion for names ending in -ansh, such as Vedansh and Divyansh.
