Raghuveer meaning
Raghuveer (रघुवीर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Hero of the Raghus, a name of Rāma
Also used to mean: hero of the raghu dynasty, lord rama
Raghuveer (रघुवीर) is Sanskrit raghu-vīra, "the hero of the Raghus", a name of Rāma found in the Rāmatāpanīya Upaniṣad. Vīra means a hero, a brave or eminent man, so the name praises Rāma as the champion of his royal house. It is used across north and west India, often spelt Raghuvir or, in Bengal and Punjab, Raghubir. Well-known bearers include the Hindi poet Raghuvir Sahay, the Gujarati novelist Raghuveer Chaudhari and the actor Raghubir Yadav.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Ram.
