Raghuram meaning
Raghuram (रघुराम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A man's name: Rāma of the Raghus
Also used to mean: lord rama, rama of the raghu dynasty
Raghuram (रघुराम) joins Raghu, the royal house of Ayodhya, with Rāma, its most celebrated prince, so it simply means "Rāma of the Raghus", Lord Rama. Monier-Williams lists raghu-rāma as a man's name, and rāma on its own means "pleasing, charming, lovely". The name is used in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, where Raghuraman is the Tamil form. A well-known bearer is the economist Raghuram Rajan, former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
