Dhanvin meaning
Dhanvin (धन्विन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Armed with a bow, archer; epithet of Shiva, Vishnu, Arjuna
Also used to mean: Lord Rama
Dhanvin (धन्विन) is the Sanskrit dhanvin, "one who has a bow", from dhanvan or dhanus, "bow". Monier-Williams gives it as armed with a bow, a bowman or archer, and records it as an epithet of Śiva, of Viṣṇu and of Arjuna, as well as the name of the Arjuna tree and of the sign Sagittarius. Indian name lists usually give "archer" and often link it to Rama. A few lists give "wealthy", which seems to come from confusing it with dhana, "wealth"; the dictionaries do not support that. It is a modern name, used in South India, and a companion name to Dhanush.
