Digant meaning
Digant (दिगंत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
The end of the horizon; remote distance
Digant (दिगंत) is the Sanskrit dig-anta, from diś, "a direction, a quarter of the sky", and anta, "end". Monier-Williams gives it as the end of the horizon, meaning a remote distance, and as an adjective, situated far away. In Hindi and Bengali digant is a poetic word for the horizon, the place where earth and sky seem to meet, and Indian name lists give the name simply as "horizon". It suggests wide spaces and far-reaching ambition. Bengali families usually write it Diganta, and in Karnataka it is often spelled Diganth.
