Azeem meaning
Azeem (عظیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Great, mighty, of great dignity; as al-ʿAẓīm, God
Also used to mean: magnificent
Azeem (عظیم) is the Arabic ʿaẓīm, "great". Lane's lexicon gives it as great or big, esteemed great by others, of great account or dignity, and also of great weight or severity, as of a calamity. As al-ʿAẓīm it is one of the names of God, "the Incomparably Great", and it closes the Throne Verse (2:255). For that reason some families prefer Abdul Azeem, "servant of the Magnificent". The Quran also praises the Prophet's "great character", khuluqin ʿaẓīm (68:4). Wipro's founder Azim Premji spells the name Azim.
