Bahar meaning
Bahar (بہار) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin (Urdu usage).
Spring, the beginning of summer; blossom
Also used to mean: spring season
Bahar (بہار) is the Persian word bahār, "spring". Steingass's Persian dictionary gives spring or the beginning of summer, a blossom and orange-flower, and in a second entry anything beautiful and splendid. The word came into Urdu and Hindi, where bahār is the season of flowers and, by extension, a time of beauty and freshness, a favourite image in Urdu poetry and film songs. Lane's Arabic lexicon also records bahār as a fragrant plant. Name lists give Bahar as "spring".
