Deekshith meaning
Deekshith (दीक्षित) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, दी, it is a Meen rashi name (Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Consecrated, initiated; prepared, ready
Also used to mean: dedicated
Deekshith (दीक्षित) is the Sanskrit dīkṣita, from dīkṣā, the rite of consecration or initiation. Monier-Williams gives it as consecrated or initiated, prepared or ready for something, and also as the priest engaged in a dīkṣā ceremony. It notes that the word was given as a title to Brahmins, as in the name of the grammarian Bhaṭṭoji-dīkṣita, and Dikshit and Dixit survive today as family names in North India. In the south, including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Deekshith is used as a first name, and name lists give it the same sense of "initiated" or "dedicated".
