Fasiha meaning
Fasiha (فصیحہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Eloquent; pure and clear in speech
Also used to mean: well-spoken, articulate
Fasiha (فصیحہ) is the feminine of Arabic faṣīḥ, from the root f-ṣ-ḥ. Lane's lexicon explains that the word first described milk cleared of its froth, and from that came its main sense: language, or a speaker, that is pure, clear and free from faults, in other words eloquent. Faṣāḥa, "eloquence", is a key idea in Arabic rhetoric, and in Urdu faṣīḥ is still used of polished speech. The boy's name Fasih is the masculine form. Name lists give Fasiha as "eloquent" or "well-spoken", matching the dictionary.
