Fatiha meaning
Fatiha (فاتحہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
The opening or first part of anything; al-Fātiḥa, the Quran's first chapter
Also used to mean: beginning, victorious
Fatiha (فاتحہ) is the Arabic fātiḥa, from the root f-t-ḥ, "to open". Lane's lexicon defines it as the beginning or first part of anything, and explains al-Fātiḥa, the Quran's first chapter, as so named because prayer opens with its recitation. Every Muslim recites it many times a day. In Urdu, fātiḥa also names the recitation of this chapter for the souls of the departed. Name lists give Fatiha as "the opening" or "beginning", and some add "victorious", from the related fātiḥ, "conqueror".
