Hariom meaning
Hariom (हरिओम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Hari (Viṣṇu) and Om, the sacred syllable
Also used to mean: Lord Vishnu
Hariom (हरिओम) comes from the devotional greeting "Hari Om", which joins two sacred words. Hari is a name of Vishnu-Krishna, and Om, in Monier-Williams, is the word of solemn affirmation, like "Amen", said at the start and end of Vedic recitation and before prayer, and later taken to stand for the trinity of Vishnu, Shiva and Brahmā. As a name it is mostly given to boys in North India, and families read it simply as "Lord Vishnu". It is also written as two words, Hari Om.
