Lokesh meaning
Lokesh (लोकेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, लो, it is a Mesh rashi name (Bharani nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Lord of the world; a name of Brahmā
Lokesh (लोकेश) is Sanskrit lokeśa, a compound of loka, "world", and īśa, "lord" or "ruler", so "lord of the world". Monier-Williams cites it from the Kauṣītaki Upaniṣad, the laws of Manu and the Rāmāyaṇa, and records it as a name of Brahmā, the creator god, and also as a title of a Buddha. Indian name lists give the same reading, "lord of the world" or "king of the world". The longer form Lokeshwar (lokeśvara) is built from the same two words. A well-known bearer today is the Tamil film director Lokesh Kanagaraj, whose films include Kaithi and Vikram.
