Loknath meaning
Loknath (लोकनाथ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, लो, it is a Mesh rashi name (Bharani nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Lord of the worlds; epithet of Brahma, Vishnu-Krishna and Shiva
Loknath (लोकनाथ) is Sanskrit lokanātha, "lord of the worlds", from loka, "world, people", and nātha, "protector, lord". Monier-Williams records it as a title of Brahma, of Vishnu and Krishna, of Shiva and of the sun, and more generally of a king who protects his people; in Buddhist texts it names the Buddha and the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. In Bengal the name recalls Baba Lokenath Brahmachari, the ascetic whose ashram and samadhi are at Baradi near Dhaka. Tamil families use the related form Loganathan.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
