Oishi meaning
Oishi (ऐशी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
Relating to or coming from Śiva; divine, supreme, regal
Oishi (ऐशी, Bengali ঐশী) is the feminine of the Sanskrit adjective aiśa, which is built on īśa, "lord, master". Monier-Williams explains aiśa as relating to or coming from Śiva, and also as divine, supreme and regal. Bengali still uses the word as ঐশ, "divine, heavenly, done by God", and the Samsad dictionary gives ঐশী as its feminine, so to Bengali ears the name simply means divine. Bengali speakers say the opening vowel ঐ as "oi", which is why the name is usually written Oishi or Oishee in English rather than Aishi. It is a short modern name, and it shares its root, īś, "to rule", with names such as Ishani and Aishani.
