Prahlad meaning
Prahlad (प्रह्लाद) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Joyful excitement, delight, joy; the pious Daitya son of Hiranyakashipu
Prahlad (प्रह्लाद) is the Sanskrit prahlāda, "joyful excitement, delight, happiness", from the verb hlād, "to be glad". The name is best known from the Puranas, where Prahlada is the young son of the demon king Hiranyakashipu who remains devoted to Vishnu despite his father's cruelty. Vishnu appears as Narasimha to save him, a story remembered every year at Holi through the burning of Holika. Monier-Williams notes that Vishnu made Prahlada king of the Daityas. In Maharashtra the name is often written Pralhad.
