Rudrakshi meaning
Rudrakshi (रुद्राक्षी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (modern).
(from rudrākṣa) "Rudra-eyed"; the rudraksha bead
Also used to mean: eyes of shiva
Rudrakshi (रुद्राक्षी) is a modern feminine name formed from Sanskrit rudrākṣa, which joins Rudra, a Vedic name of Śiva, and akṣa, "eye". Monier-Williams explains rudrākṣa as "Rudra-eyed" and as the Elaeocarpus tree whose berries are strung into the prayer beads worn by devotees of Śiva, and also as a rosary. Name lists give Rudrakshi as "eyes of Lord Shiva". The dictionary has no feminine entry, so the name is a recent counterpart of the boys' name Rudraksh.
