Sanidhya meaning
Sanidhya (सान्निध्य) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, सा, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Nearness, closeness, vicinity; presence, attendance
Sanidhya (सान्निध्य) is Sanskrit sāṃnidhya, "nearness", the abstract noun from saṃnidhi, "proximity, presence". Monier-Williams gives being near, closeness and vicinity, and presence or attendance; with the verb kṛ it means to appear or become present, and with verbs of going, to draw near. Name lists give Sanidhya as "nearness" or "presence", and a few as "abode of God", a looser reading we could not find in the dictionary. In Hindi the name is often written सानिध्य, a simplified spelling of the Sanskrit.
