Sanket meaning
Sanket (संकेत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A sign, signal, hint or gesture; an agreement, appointment
Sanket (संकेत) comes from Sanskrit saṃketa, formed from sam-, "together", and keta, "sign" or "intention". Monier-Williams gives two groups of senses. One is an agreement, compact or appointment, often an arranged meeting with a lover, and so a convention or consent. The other is an intimation, hint or allusion, a preconcerted sign, signal or gesture; saṃketaṃ kṛ means "to give a signal". The word was also the title of commentaries on poetry. In modern Hindi and Marathi sanket is the ordinary word for a sign or signal, and name lists give Sanket the same meaning.
