Sunit meaning
Sunit (सुनीत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Well led or guided; well-conducted; good or wise conduct, prudence
Also used to mean: of good principles
Sunit (सुनीत) is Sanskrit su-nīta, from su, "well", and nīta, "led, guided", from the root nī, "to lead". Monier-Williams gives it as well led or guided, well managed, and well-conducted, and as a noun good or wise conduct, wisdom and prudence, citing the Mahabharata and the Ramayana; it was also the name of a king in the Vishnu Purana. Name lists give Sunit as "wise" or "a prudent man of good principles", matching the dictionary. The same root gives nīti, "right conduct, policy", and the girls' name Suniti.
