Tanishq (तनिष्क) is a modern name. Name lists give it as "jewel" or "gem". It is not a word in the Sanskrit dictionaries, but it is usually explained from tanu, "body", and niṣka, which Monier-Williams gives as a gold ornament worn on the neck or breast, and also as gold or a gold coin. The word is also the name of the Tanishq jewellery brand, which Titan launched in 1994; Wikipedia records two stories for the brand name, one joining "Ta" for Tata with nishk, the other joining tan and nishk. As a given name it is used mostly for boys.
