Vidhaan meaning
Vidhaan (विधान) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Order, arrangement, rule, precept, method; creation; fate
Also used to mean: law
Vidhaan (विधान) is the Sanskrit vidhāna, from vi-dhā, "to arrange, to ordain, to create". Monier-Williams gives it as order and arrangement, regulation, rule, precept and method, a sense found from the Ṛg-veda onward, and also as creation, the performance of prescribed rites, a means or expedient, and fate. In Hindi vidhān means a law or statute, as in saṃvidhān, "constitution", and vidhān sabhā, the state legislative assembly. Name lists give it as "rule", "order" or "law", which matches the dictionary. The long-aa spelling Vidhaan is the usual one for the name today.
