Amanullah meaning
Amanullah (امان اللہ) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
The protection of God; God's assurance of safety
Also used to mean: God's protection, trust of God
Amanullah (امان اللہ) joins the Arabic amān and Allāh. Lane's lexicon defines amān as protection or a safeguard, and very often an assurance of safety given to someone; the root ʾ-m-n also gives amn, "security", and amīn, "trustworthy". Allāh is the proper name of God. Together the name means "the protection of God", or one kept safe in God's care. It was borne by Amanullah Khan, ruler of Afghanistan from 1919 to 1929. Families who prefer a shorter form often use Aman.
