Anagh meaning
Anagh (अनघ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Sinless, faultless, uninjured; a name of Shiva
Also used to mean: pure
Anagh (अनघ) is Sanskrit anagha, formed from an-, "without", and agha, "evil, sin, harm". Monier-Williams gives sinless, faultless and uninjured, and from the lexicons handsome; as a masculine noun it is a name of Śiva and of others. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna addresses Arjuna as anagha, "O sinless one" (3.3). Baby-name lists give the name as "sinless" or "pure", matching the dictionary. It is the boys' counterpart of the girls' name Anagha.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
