Dhruvika meaning
Dhruvika (ध्रुविका) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Fixed, firm, constant; from dhruva, the pole star
Also used to mean: steady
Dhruvika (ध्रुविका) is a modern girls' name made from Sanskrit dhruva with the feminine ending -ikā. Monier-Williams defines dhruva as fixed, firm, immovable, constant and lasting, and as a noun as the pole star, the one star that never seems to move. In the Purāṇas the pole star is personified as Dhruva, the boy whose devotion to Viṣṇu won him an unshakeable place in the sky. Dhruvika itself is not in the dictionaries, but its root is clear, and name lists give "firm", "steady" or "constant". It sits alongside Dhruvi and the boys' name Dhruv.
