Fawzan meaning
Fawzan (فوزان) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Success, attainment (a name form from fawz, success)
Also used to mean: successful, victorious
Fawzan (فوزان) is built on the Arabic root f-w-z, whose verbal noun fawz means success and the attainment of good. Lane's lexicon explains the verb fāza as to attain or win good fortune, or whatever one desired, and Steingass gives fauz as success, gain, victory, safety and salvation. The form fawzān itself does not appear in either dictionary and seems to be a name pattern rather than an everyday word. Name lists give "successful" or "victorious", in line with the root. In India the name is also spelled Fauzan and Fouzan.
