Jwalant meaning
Jwalant (ज्वलंत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Blazing, shining (present participle of jval, 'to burn brightly')
Also used to mean: luminous
Jwalant (ज्वलंत) is the Hindi form of Sanskrit jvalat, the present participle of the verb jval, which Monier-Williams glosses as to burn brightly, blaze, glow and shine. So the name means "blazing" or "shining". A related word on the same page, jvalana, means flaming or shining, and also fire itself. In modern Hindi jvalant also means burning in the sense of urgent, as in a burning issue. Name lists give "luminous" or "bright", which fits the root.
