Maheshwari meaning
Maheshwari (महेश्वरी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
A name of Durga; great sovereign goddess
Also used to mean: great goddess, Parvati
Maheshwari (महेश्वरी) is the feminine of Sanskrit maheśvara, "great lord", from mahā, "great", and īśvara, "lord". Maheśvara is a name of Shiva, and Monier-Williams records maheśvarī as a name of Durgā and of the goddess Dākṣāyaṇī as worshipped at Mahākāla. Maheshvari is also one of the Saptamatrikas, the seven Mother goddesses, as the power of Shiva. Name lists give great goddess, Parvati or Durga, all close to the source. As a given name it is used in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, where it is spelt Maheswari; in North India Maheshwari is also a community surname.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Durga.
