Panchami meaning
Panchami (पंचमी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
The fifth day of a lunar fortnight; a name of Draupadi
Panchami (पंचमी) is the feminine of Sanskrit pañcama, "fifth". Its main sense in Monier-Williams is the fifth day, or tithi, of either half of the lunar month, the day on which festivals such as Vasant Panchami and Nag Panchami fall. The dictionary also records pañcamī as a rāgiṇī in music, as the grammarians' name for the ablative case, as a river, and as a name of Draupadī, "the wife of five". Name lists agree on "fifth day", and some families choose it for a daughter born on a Panchami.
