Anaswara meaning
Anaswara (अनश्वरा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Malayalam usage). By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Imperishable
Anaswara (अनश्वरा) is the feminine of Sanskrit anaśvara, "imperishable". It is the negative of naśvara, "perishable, passing", from the verb naś, "to be lost, to perish"; Hindi still uses naśvar for anything mortal or short-lived. Monier-Williams records anaśvara with the single sense imperishable, and the name keeps that meaning of something lasting. The name is chiefly used in Kerala, where it is usually spelt with s rather than sh. A well-known bearer is the Malayalam film actress Anaswara Rajan.
