Parag meaning
Parag (पराग) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Pollen of a flower; fragrant powder; sandal; fame
Parag (पराग) is the Sanskrit parāga, the pollen of a flower. Monier-Williams also gives dust, the fragrant powder used after bathing, sandalwood, and, as a figure of speech, fame and celebrity, the way pollen spreads far from its flower. Kalidasa uses the word in the Raghuvamsha. In Hindi parāg still means pollen, and it was the title of a well-known children's magazine. Name lists give "pollen", the same as the dictionary. The name is used in Maharashtra, Gujarat and North India.
