Prasoon meaning
Prasoon (प्रसून) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A flower, blossom; fruit; born, produced
Prasoon (प्रसून) is the Sanskrit prasūna, from pra-sū, "to bring forth, to give birth". Its first sense is simply "born, produced", and from there Monier-Williams gives the noun as a flower or blossom, and also fruit, the things a plant brings forth. Hindi poetry still uses prasūn for a flower. Name lists give "flower" or "blossom", the same as the dictionary. Bengali families usually spell the name Prasun.
