Sucheta meaning
Sucheta (सुचेता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Of great intelligence, wise; well-minded, benevolent
Also used to mean: good mind, conscious, attentive
Sucheta (सुचेता) comes from Sanskrit sucetas, formed from su, "good", and cetas, "mind, consciousness". Monier-Williams glosses it as having great intelligence, wise, and in later texts as well-minded and benevolent; it is also the name of a son of Gṛtsamada in the Mahābhārata. Name lists give "one with a good mind" or "conscious", close to the dictionary sense. The best-known bearer is Sucheta Kriplani, freedom fighter, member of the Constituent Assembly and India's first woman Chief Minister, who led Uttar Pradesh from 1963 to 1967.
