Ahad meaning
Ahad (احد) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
One; as al-Aḥad, God, the One without a second
Also used to mean: unique
Ahad (احد) is the Arabic aḥad, "one". Lane's lexicon explains that it often has the same meaning as wāḥid, but that as an epithet, al-Aḥad, it is used of God alone: the One who has no second in His lordship, essence or attributes. The word closes the first verse of Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ, "Say: He is God, the One" (112:1). The full form is Abdul Ahad, "servant of the One", while Ahad alone is read as "one" or "unique".
