Chaturbhuj meaning
Chaturbhuj (चतुर्भुज) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Four-armed; Vishnu or Krishna
Also used to mean: lord vishnu
Chaturbhuj (चतुर्भुज) is Sanskrit catur-bhuja, from catur, "four", and bhuja, "arm". Monier-Williams gives it as four-armed and, as a noun, Viṣṇu or Kṛṣṇa, pointing to the Bhagavad Gītā, where Arjuna asks to see Krishna again in his four-armed form; it is also listed as a name of Gaṇeśa. The four arms hold Vishnu's conch, discus, mace and lotus. Baby-name lists give the name as "four-armed" or Lord Vishnu. Well-known Chaturbhuj temples stand at Orchha and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Vishnu.
