Devraj meaning
Devraj (देवराज) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, दे, it is a Meen rashi name (Revati nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
King of the gods; a name of Indra
Devraj (देवराज) is the Sanskrit deva-rāja, from deva, "god", and rāja, "king". Monier-Williams gives it as a ruler, as the king of the gods, an epithet of Indra, and as the name of a king, a sage and a Buddha. Indian name lists give the same meaning, "king of the gods". In South India the full form Devaraj or Devaraja is used, as in the Mysore kings named Devaraja Wodeyar, while Devraj is the form used in the north and Debraj in Bengal. The name is a close relative of Devendra, which has the same meaning built with indra instead of rāja.
